Last month the Mayor of Manilva, Salvador Zotano, and a representative of the the construction company San Jose S.A., Manuel Trujillo Salazar, signed a contract between the Town Hall and the constructor to build Sabinillas's new Health Centre. The act was witnessed by the councillors Jose Benitez and Rafael Mena.

The new health centre will be situated next to the Sports Complex currently under construction and will provide a level of cover not previously available to the people of Manilva.

According to the Mayor “this is a great day for the municipality of Manilva , with this signature we have confirmed our commitment to providing the citizens of Manilva the best possible health facilities.

The constructor is committed to execution of the works in accordance to the specifications of the project, and to completing construction in seven months.

The representatives from the Manilva Town Council have said that “it is vitally important to provide for Manilva's constantly growing population a comprehensive health service, and this is a matter on which we cannot cut corners”.
