Health Department expands the local paediatric service Print

Manilva's municipal health department has announced that as from the last week of March the local paediatric service will be expanded so that “there will be a paediatric doctor available for consultations in the municipality of Manilva every weekday, something that the people of Manilva have been demanding for some time” said the Delegate for Health, and Mayor, Salvador Zotano.

The departmental head, Sergio Diaz, explained that as of that date the consultation hours will be as follows: Mondays and Wednesdays from 8.15 am until 2 pm, and Fridays from 8.15 am until 10.30 am as against the current service of only two hours Mondays and Wednesday and alternate Fridays.

In Manilva the paediatric doctor will continue to be attendance between 8.15 am and 10.45 am on Tuesdays and Thursday. The paediatrician serving the municipality of Manilva is Dr Fernando Acuña.

This is yet another improvement to the local health provisions which has been negociated with the Andalucian Regional Health Service to offer the best possible service to the local population.
