The Health Department of Manilva Town Council has announced the introduction of 24-hr local ambulance cover.

The new service will cover weekdays from 3pm to 8am and 24-hrs at the weekend, which along with the current emergency cover will give a full 24-7 service.

This operation will involve 4 doctors and 5 drivers “and the service is complete and perfectly adapted to cover all the needs of the municipality” said the Mayor, Salvador Zotano.

The emergency ambulance service will be based in Manilva and Sabinillas on alternate weeks, but after 10 pm will be based at the Manilva Health Centre which will be the nerve centre of the operation.

The Mayor wishes to reassure everybody that the Manilva Town Council is doing everything possible to ensure that each member of the community can rely on a fast, complete and effective emergency service.
