Manilva at FITUR International Tourism Fair in Madrid

This month from Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th January sees the 26th annual International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2006, take place in Madrid.

For five days the focus of the world's travel and tourism industry will be on the Feria de Madrid exposition centre which will stage this prestigious event.

This huge tourism showcase will feature 11,500 participating companies and organisations involving 102,000 travel and tourism professionals of which Manilva is well represented.

The first two days are set aside for travel and tourism trade professionals, which include tour operators, hoteliers, airlines and transport, travel media, local, regional and national tourist boards from all over the world, travel agencies and a whole host of allied trades.

The Friday, Saturday and Sunday are open to the public and are an opportunity to attract visitors and potential property purchasers.

Manilva has used FITUR very successfully to forge links with high profile tourism entities including the Disney Group, and to attract events such as the Restaurateurs Seminar and the Disney Family Golf to the municipality.
