Improvements to Manilva’s Health Centre completed ahead of schedule

Councillor Salvador Zotano, head of Manilva’s Department of Health has announced the completion of the works to modernise and expand the facilities at Manilva’s health centre.

Councillor Zotano joined with his area director, Diego José Jimémez to congratulate José Benitez, who as Councillor in charge of the Public Works department had overseen the completion of the project more than two weeks ahead of schedule.

The improvements include the installation of an infirmary as well as a resting area and showers for the medical staff who will be providing 24-hour cover, once the new medical equipment arrives which is being funded in part by the Andalucian Health Service.

Subject to final confirmation by the Provincial Department of Health, due on the 5th October, works are expected to begin on the new Sabinillas Health Centre which will be situated on the site of the old football ground in Sabinillas.
