Manilva has once again been awarded three Blue Flags, two for the La Colonia and Sabinillas beaches and one for the Puerto de la Duquesa marina.

This year there have been yet more improvements with pergolas installed at Punta Almina and La Colonia to provide shade during the hottest hours of the day, as well as exercise equipment aimed at older users who wish to take a little exercise whilst strolling along the Paseo Maritimo.

The beach department will soon be preparing the beaches for the summer season with boardwalks being installed as well as refuse collection points, new showers, etc.
