Today saw the official innauguration of the Sabinillas Health Centre which was performed by the Junta de Andalucia's Councillor for Health, María Jesús Montero, along with the Mayoress,  Antonia Muñoz, and the Manilva Councillor responsible for Health, Emilio López Berenguer, also attending were councillors from all local political parties, the Provincial Delagate for Health, María Antigua Escalera, and the Costa del Sol District Health Director, Manuel Bayona.

The 1,500 square metre state-of-the-art, health facility will serve the whole of the municipality and has 12 consulting rooms, including 4 paediatric rooms, and a 24-hr emergency room.

The new health centre should be open for its first patients next week  around the 30th or 31st July.
