Manilva will celebrate its annual 'Romeria' over the weekend of the 29th to 31st May. The romeria is in honour of 'Our Lady of Fatima' and the celebrations take place in and around the Ermita de San Adolfo chapel located close to the La Hedionda Roman Baths.
The festivities kick off on Friday 29th with a karaoke party. On Saturday 30th, from 7 pm there is a procession in which the image of 'Our Lady of Fatima' will be paraded from the church in Manilva to the chapel, after which there will be a service. From 10 pm there will be a performance by members of the municipal school of music, until the early hours. On Sunday, May 31st there will be a service with the Manilva Santa Ana Choir, followed by live music from the group 'Antidote'. All proceed from the bar will go to the Cofradía de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno de Manlva brotherhood. |
