The Councillor responsible for Manilva’s Planning Department, Emilio Lopez Berenguer (ASM), has sent a letter to local developer Prienesur thanking them for their quick response in attending to the dilapidated buildings next to the old Gran Bar building (now occupied by Andalucian Dream Homes).

The commercial buildings had fallen into a state of disrepair and created a poor image for visitors to the area. Councillor Lopez contacted them a short while ago requesting that the eyesore was attended to which it promptly was. The councillor has held this up as a good example of local businesses shouldering their responsibilities.

Now maybe something can be done about the derelict building in the centre of Sabinillas which formerly housed the Hostals Buenevista and Miguel and up till recently was used as headquarters by both Councillor Lopez’s ASM party and the Mayoress’s IU party!
