Christmas and New Year Programme PDF Print E-mail

The Manilva Town Hall has published its programme of events for the 2009-2010 Festive Season. As always this may be subject to change, so we will ammend this article as we receive new information. Saturday, 19th December 3 pm - 6 pm
 “Santa is coming to Duquesa”
Children can bring their letters to Santa in his grotto on Duquesa Port's harbourside, where there will be a small Christmas market, children's activities, bouncy castle, etc.

8 pm Santa Ana Church in Manilva
Christmas Concert, performed by the Manilva Town Band and the Santa Ana Choir

Sunday, 20th December
San Luis de Sabinillas Church       
From 1 pm  Christmas Concert with the Sabinillas Choir

21st December
Sports Day
From 4 pm there will be a sporting exhibition from local schools at “Las Viñas” Sports Pavillion in Manilva.

27th December
Children's Party at the Youth Pavillion in Manilva (next to football ground)

31st December

“Fiesta Cotillón” - New Years´Eve
Bars - Morey, Sabora, Kopas, TNT and La Salsera are organizing a youth party with music, presents and much more.
Also at the Casa de la Juventud in Manilva, there will be a big party that anybody can join (all ages are welcome) with the traditional “Caldo and Churros”. Music till very late - Free entry

3rd January
From 8 pm - Santa Ana Church in Manilva
Rafa Garcel and the polyphonic choral from La Linea will entertain the audience with “Villancicos” (ChristmasCarols)

5th January
The annual Three Kings cavalcade
From 6 pm in Castillo de la Duquesa
From 7 pm in Sabinillas
From 8 pm in Manilva (all timings approximate)
