Manilva’s Councillor for the environment, Emilio Lopez Berenguer, has held preliminary talks with the President of the animal welfare charity ADANA, Paul Agius, with a view to collaborating on animal welfare issues in the municipality.

ADANA, which runs the animal shelter in Estepona, have presented a proposal which would provide the charity’s years of experience and resources in exchange for support from Manilva Town Hall.

It is hoped that a decision can be made in the coming weeks which will allow this project to move forward.
