By Simon Earle
Lloyd Earle, of Marina De Casares sadly passed away on Tuesday February 25th, 2013 in the Costa Del Sol Hospital in Marbella.
Lloyd was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England on June 24th, 1949, to George and Ivy Earle.
Lloyd had many passions in life. Being a keen musician, he was well known for guitar playing and singing. He’d happily engage in enthusiastic discussions on any manner of subject with anyone who cared to argue, and he’d enjoy doing both with a decent pint or a glass of red. Lloyd spent many years of service in the RAF, where he had a great opportunity for another of his loves, travel.
He is survived by his wife Anne; son and daughter, Simon and Caroline; a sister Ana and brother Gregg. He was predeceased by a brother, Rick.
A short humanitarian service will be held at Manilva Crematorium on Monday 4th March at 12 noon and afterwards at Camping Bellavista Bar/Restaurant. All are welcome.
Memorial donations can be made to Costa Del Sol Hospital, Marbella; Cancer Research or the Stroke Association.
