The Councillor for Finance, Diego Diaz held a meeting with fellow councillors recently to set the dates for the two ‘local’ holidays.
Each municipality has two local celebrations which are added to the list of national and regional holidays. In Manilva the two days will be Monday, 11th August and Monday, 8th September both of which follow local ferias: the Summer Fair in August and the ‘Vendimia’ Grape Festival in September.
