After some three months of negotiations with a number of tour operators Manilva has struck a deal for visitors from cruise ships stopping in Gibraltar to visit Manilva as a shore excursion.

The first of these excursions is on Friday 25 April and will involve some 150 Japanese tourists who will enjoy an itinerary which includes visits to the Wine Centre, Castle, Duquesa Port, and the Paseo Maritimo in Sabinillas.

According to the press release some of the visitors who will be enjoying a day in Manilva are survivors from the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshimo.
