Manilva Town Council’s Education Department is offering classroom activities to children attending infant and primary schools during the week of 25th to 29th February, from 9 am to 2 pm daily (excluding the 28th which is a public holiday), when local state run schools will be closed and some working parents will be wondering whom they are going to leave their children with! |

From Thursday 31st January, it will now be possible to book medical appointments with the doctor, paediatrician or district nurse over the phone. This programme has been introduced by the Junta de Andalucia Regional Health Authority and allows appointments to be made via the telephone number 902 505 060 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Plyaground closed for repairs |

The La Colonia children’s playground, next to the nursery in Sabinillas will be closed from 22nd January for repairs and improvements. According to the Councillor for Public Works, Mario Jiménez, these works will take several weeks, during which those areas being worked on will be closed. The councillor has expressed his apologies for any inconvenience, but would point out that the works are being carried out for the safety of the park’s users, and as such would ask that people respect the barriers whilst the work is being carried out. |
