 Manilva celebrates its annual summer fair each year during the second week of August. This year the dates are from Wednesday, 8th August to Sunday, 12th August inclusive. Apart from the cavalcades most of the activities focus around the fairground on the Rio Manilva Road. For the full programme: |

Interview with Antonia Muñoz - Mayoress of Manilva The following is a translation of an interview by the Manilva Press Office, which was published in the July edition of 'Manilva al Dia'. Antonia Muñoz has been named Mayoress of Manilva for the second time. On the first occasion she was forced out by a motion of censorship by the council “the bad taste in the mouth that left me with is finally gone”. It is with renewed confidence that she faces the new challenges, and expresses the desire to make real her commitments to the community. |

The Department of Youth and Sports are running summer sports classes and activities during July and August. Places are available to anyone but preference and a subsidy are available to those registered on the Padron. |
