Extension work on Manilva Gym

Works are currently being carried out to extend the gymnasium at the las Viñas Sports Centre in Manilva.
The project involves the conversion of a terrace adjacent to the weights room which will enlarge the gym by some 140 square metres allowing for more equipment to be installed.
This will not only allow a larger number of people to use the gym, but will also provide a more diverse range of equpment to be made available.
The Councillor for Sports, Diego Urieta, has explained that this action is in response to the large demand for use of the gym, particularly the weights room. The Councillor would like to apologise for the temporary inconvenience whilst works are carried out but points out that the improvements will be more than worth the wait.
