Activities

Manilva is not just about lazing on the beach, although there is ample room on the miles of beautiful, clean sand, to do so if you wish. We are lucky in having beautiful countryside in which you can explore either by car, foot, horse or bicycle. For those who like messing about on boats there is the picturesque Puerto de la Duquesa, where you can find all sorts of activities like sea fishing charters or even a yacht school (see out nautical section)

Trips and Excursions

Manilva is well placed geographically as a base for exploring Andalucia, Spain, Gibraltar and Morocco. For more information on some of the available options:

MOROCCO BOUND - Specialising in small, exclusive parties and offering an insight into the side of Tangier and North Morocco not seen on the average day trip. For more information see Morocco Bound

The local Town Hall and its various departments run a host of trips and activities for visitors and residents. See here for details.

Walking

Within Manilva and the neighbouring area can be found dozens of rambling and hiking trails to suit all tastes and degrees of fitness. Whether it be exploring the many valleys, gorges and backroads to trekking in the hills and mountains in sight of eagles and vultures, you will never be bored.

RAMBLING THE COSTAS - Local residents Sue and Rob run a rambling club based in Manilva, which organises regular hikes. For more information visit Rambling The Costas.

The local environment department Medio Ambiente also organise guided walks. See here for the latest details
