In memory of Tony Patrick Grealish

Tony Grealish

RIP Tony Patrick Grealish “21st September 1956 to 23rd April 2013” better known here as “Paddy” who sadly lost his battle with cancer this month.
On behalf of The Foreign Residents Department of Manilva and all his friends on The Costa Del Sol, far too many to mention. Our thoughts go out to partner Wendy, children Garret and Jordana, grandchildren Harrison and Joshua, likewise Tony’s mother Nora, brother Brian and sisters Anne and Christine at this very sad time. Most, if not all of us here, will remember him, not only for his football career, but for his massive personality and positively memorable charisma having lived here for several years running up to his return to the UK in the last few years in part due to his ill health.

Thinking of you always old friend.

Football career; 45 international caps for the Republic of Ireland 1976–1985, Leyton Orient 1974-1979, Luton Town 1979-1981, Brighton & Hove Albion 1981-1984, West Bromwich Albion 1984-1986, Manchester City 1986-1987, Rotherham United 1987-1990, Walsall 1990-1992 and Bromsgrove Rovers 1992-1995.
